Manufactured using 100% polyurethane sheeting, they are highly stable in the presence of oil, grease and aliphatic hydrocarbons (petrol). However, aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorine can occasionally produce slight swelling. They are insoluble in alcohol, water and ether, but less resistant to hot water and steam.
Antistatic: With a copper wire parallel to the wire spiral for better electrostatic discharge.
Food grade: With special food-grade polyurethane for transporting foodstuffs.

These hoses can also be used for foodstuff transporting, but this should be indicated when ordering so that the grade suitable for foodstuffs can be supplied.
This tube is made of 2 overlapping sheets of polyurethane, half of one sheet overlapping half of the other and welded together, with copper or brass-platted steel wire sandwiched between both sheets.
