The hose Vena® Technosil SAE J20R3 Clase A meets the requirements of SAE J20 R3 Class A standard for cooling systems in the automotive industry.
Flexible hoses specially recommended for use in water and ethylene glycol-based engine-coolant system applications.
For the automotive industry, the most common standard for coolant systems hoses is SAE J20, which classifies them according to type of service. This reference, SAE 20R3, are for normal service heater.
This type of hose is used in connecting heater systems and other components in the coolant circulating systems of ground vehicles (for example in heavy duty truck and bus engines).
This reference is manufactured by extrusion with polyester yarn braiding inside the hose. The silicone rubber compound is VMQ type (Vinyl Methyl Quality).
Smooth inner and outer appearance, and blue color.
High temperature resistant. Operational temperature range from -55ºC (-67ºF) to 175ºC (347ºF).
The standard manufacturing length is 76,2 meters (250ft), although it can be manufactured in any length.
